Jamwant Singh Kumre: Detailed Introduction and Social Work

Jamwant Singh Kumre was born on 9 April 1981 in village Hidli located in Aathner block of Betul district of Madhya Pradesh. His family has been dedicated to education and social work, and Jamwant's father Mr. Fagan Singh Kumre was also a teacher.Jamwant did his early education from his village and then moved to Bhopal and Indore for higher education.

Educational Background
Jāmvanta Siṅgha Kumare completed his B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) degree in 2005-2006 from RGPV, Bhopal. After that, he pursued an M.Tech degree from Devi Ahilya University, Indore, in 2010-2011. After excelling in education, he began his career in the field of software engineering.

Professional Life
Jāmvanta Siṅgha Kumare started his career as a software engineer in Mumbai in 2008. Later, in 2011-2012, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at RGPV, Bhopal. In 2013, he was appointed as a regular Assistant Professor at MITS College in Gwalior. During his time there, he established his reputation in the field of education and also played an active role in various social activities.

Social Work and Contribution
Jāmvanta Siṅgha Kumare's life was not limited to teaching alone. He dedicated his energy to bringing about change in society. During the COVID-19 pandemic in Gwalior, he and his team distributed masks, sanitizers, organized blood donation camps, and provided free education to underprivileged children. Additionally, he was actively involved in traffic and environmental awareness, cow service, and other social works.

His contributions were recognized by the Sai Leela Seva Sansthan of Gwalior, which honored him for his services. His work has earned him respect and trust in society.

He raised his voice for the rights of the tribal people, especially regarding land rights and improving their social standing. He continues to organize programs to raise awareness among tribal communities.

Family and Personal Life
Jāmvanta Siṅgha Kumare married Anshu Kumare in 2019, and they have a son. His wife, Anshu Kumare, efficiently fulfills her family responsibilities. All members of their family understand their duties toward society and remain engaged in their respective roles.

Inspired by Jais ideology, as an active member from 2013 to 2024, the main objectives of Jais are to propagate the Sixth Schedule, PESA Act and the Constitutional Rights of the tribals through social media, in which Babai Batori has created its own identity in all the districts of the state.

After leaving the job of a professor, he got connected with the people at grassroots level with new responsibility and along with the workers of Jais, he always remained ready to solve the problems of the people of the society and agitated for their rights.

In the year 2020, during the Covid 19 pandemic, along with the tribal organization and Mitra Mandal, services were provided by creating awareness in remote rural areas and material was provided for protection against the Covid 19 pandemic.

In the year 2019, keeping in view the efficiency of work, the State Executive appointed him as the In-charge of Educational and Technical Proposal. He continuously spread awareness among the people through social media and programs. On the occasion of 2019-2020, he was given the special responsibility to visit all the block headquarters of Betul district and make the tribals aware about the Fifth Schedule, Sixth Schedule, PESA Act. He was given this task by discussing the serious issues of the Fifth Schedule and seeking whatever support could be given by the administration, which he successfully took to every village.

Prepared the ground plan for “Parliament siege mission-2018”
On 1 April 2018, a large number of Adivasis gheraoed the Parliament in Delhi under the banner of JAYAS (Jai Adivasi Yuva Shakti). In this historic Parliament gherao, Adivasis from the ten states notified under the Fifth Schedule of the Constitution, namely Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Telangana, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh, besides Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Nepal had reached Delhi under the 'Mission 2018 Movement'. Through the Mission 2018 Movement, the JAYAS organisation was appreciated across the country and JAYAS attracted the attention of all major parties, organisations and people.

Jamwant Singh Kumre on 30 July 2017, in order to put pressure on the government to strictly implement the Fifth Schedule of the Constitution of Jais, hundreds of tribal representatives from 20 states including Nagaland, Assam, Sikkim, West Bengal and ten states notified by the Fifth Schedule gathered at the Indian Social Institute in Lodhi Colony, Delhi on the issue of “Discussion on the Fifth Schedule and National Debate on Burning Tribal Issues”. In the program, there was a heated debate on all the issues related to the tribals in front of the Chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes, Nand Kumar Sai, and an appeal was also made to Mr. Sai for resolving the problems.
